Golf has become something I genuinely love. After leaving the military, professional sport and later becoming a founder and dad, it gave me something I'd missed — time outside with friends, competition, terrible banter and perspective.

Years spent in Special Forces and representing England Sevens taught me the value of equipment you trust without thinking about. Things built properly. Things that perform when they're needed and disappear when they're not.

The more I played golf, the more I felt the kit didn't quite match the experience. Too much of it felt trend-led. Too much of it felt designed for perfect conditions.

We need kit that works. But we also love things to look cool as well.

So I started HOLDFAST with a simple ambition: To build the best golf kit in the world. For the people who genuinely love the game.

We build for the rounds that test you. Wind off the channel, rain that arrives sideways, cold mornings.even the sun. The kit is good in those conditions, or it is not good at all.

Merino. Cotton. Down. Ventile. We choose fibres that age honestly, weather into themselves and last past the seasons that sold them.

The shirt the round is built around. A clean, properly cut polo with enough structure to look right and enough give to swing freely — equally at home on the first tee or the clubhouse afterwards.

How the first collection is built.

Built slowly, in the open, with members along for the ride.

  1. Phase 01
    Design & Development

    Working with our head designer to refine the opening collection, source natural materials and begin manufacturer development.

    4–6 weeks
  2. Phase 02
    Prototypes & Fit

    Developing early samples, refining fit, testing fabrics and pressure-testing the collection in real conditions.

    6–8 weeks
  3. Phase 03
    Field Testing

    Testing the collection through competitive rounds, links golf, travel and all-weather play before final production.

    4–6 weeks

    First Production Run

    Opening the first limited production run exclusively to Founding Members.
