I started HOLDFAST because I grew tired of buying synthetic golf clothing that looked the part but rarely performed properly in the conditions I actually played in.

Years spent in the military and professional sport taught me how much good kit matters — not for appearance, but for comfort, trust and reliability when conditions turn.

Golf then gave me something else entirely. Time outside with friends. Competition. Humour. Perspective.

HOLDFAST started from that.

I wanted to build proper golf kit for real conditions alongside a small group of friends who've helped shape and test the early ideas with me — early tee times, links and mountain golf, weather most people would avoid.

We wanted clothing that didn't look or feel like modern sportswear. Just well-made kit that looked right on the course, worked properly in bad weather, and still felt good long after the round.

I also wanted to create a club that wasn't built around status, money or exclusivity for the sake of it. Just good people, good humour, competitive rounds and gear you naturally reach for time and time again.

HOLDFAST starts with a small founding membership, a limited first collection, and a handful of trips each year. Where it goes from there depends on the people who become part of it.
